We’re fundamentally ALL THE SAME.
We have the same emotions, fears, hopes, and desires.
We’ve all been wounded, hurt, or traumatized at one point or another in our lives.
We all just want to be included, LOVED, and accepted for who we are.
These tendencies just manifest differently in each and every one of us. And it’s what makes life interesting.
This applies to your angry boss,
the arrogant taxi driver,
the self-absorbed sibling
and EVERYONE else.
Realizing this gives you more compassion for others. That doesn’t mean that you have to spend time with them. It also helps you to understand, love, and accept yourself more. That in turn will make it easier to do the same for others.
Have a great weekend!
